We have interviewed Illia Protsenko born 2013. He plays for Fiorentina in Italy and he tells us more about him as a player and his goals for the upcoming season.

Tell us more about yourself?
-I am from Ukraine and I played for Dynamo Kiev before the war broke out. I spent last season in Italy at Fiorentina. It’s incredible to represent such a big club.

How was last season for you?
-Last season I played for the first team born in 2013 at Fiorentina. We played in many big tournaments, showed very good results against the best football clubs in Europe.

Can you describe yourself as a player?
-I play as a defender and midfielder. My forte is an aggressive and fearless game. I’m very good at getting out of the opponent’s pressure. I have a very high speed, because of this, no one can beat me one on one, not only my peers, but also older guys.

What are your goals for the upcoming season?
-I will spend this season at Fiorentina again.  I hope to play on the same level with the best teams in the world.
