We have interviewed Malik Verhulst born 2011. He plays for Anderlecht in Belgium and he tells us more about him as a player and his goals for the upcoming season.

Tell us more about yourself?
-I am a player who has a lot of aggressiveness and a lot of rage. I had to fight because I was born premature and this desire to fight is always there when I am on the field. Outside the field I am a very calm nonchalant kid but on the field I need to control the ball.

What is your playing style?
-I have a very good vision of the game. I have been a multi-position player since I was 5 years old and I play as much in attack as in defense and I score as well that I defend. I would say that I am a complete player who only wants to learn and evolve.

How was last season for you?
-My last season at La Gantoise (at KAA Gent) was exceptional, that’s why Anderlecht came to get me for this season.

What are your goals for the upcoming season?
-I want to become an indisputable holder. I want to become better and be important and necessary for my team. These are my goals for the season.
