Lincoln Fischer

We have interviewed Lincoln Fischer born 2012. He plays for NY Red Bulls U12 Academy and he tells us more about him as a player and his goals for the upcoming season.

Can you describe yourself as a player?
-I train and play every game with 100% effort. My speed and physicality gives me an edge up playing center Back. I have a strong leg that is often used for long balls out of the back and free kicks. I would say my vision, as well, is a big part of what I offer as a top player on the pitch.

How was last season?
-Last season was very good. I played for Monmouth United Premier out of Monmouth County New Jersey under Coach Lee Drury. We finished near the top of our league playing in the highest division. We were ranked as high as #4 in the state of New Jersey. I benefitted personally from my coach’s instruction all season allowing me to grow exponentially as a player.

What are my goals for upcoming season?
-This season with NY Red Bulls will be very competitive each and every week. My goal is to keep giving 100% effort every time I step foot on the pitch and solidify a consistent spot in the starting lineup. It’s been an amazing achievement to make the Academy team at Red Bulls, but now the hard work starts and that’s what I plan on doing!
